Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result of this, we have a full-time position available for a project manager in our Madison, WI office to work with our State Government Facilities department. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: the planning, design and delivery of architectural projects for the State of Wisconsin Division of Facilities Development (DFD), military facilities, counties and municipalities; managing scope, schedule and budget for architectural projects; over-seeing multi-discipline project teams; working with other project managers, department managers and the Market Leader and ; mentoring staff; assist with client contact to maintain and promote work; and provide leadership during the QA/QC of projects. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
• Bachelor of architecture (5 year) degree (or higher) from an accredited school or college OR a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in architecture from an accredited school or college;
• Architect license (WI preferred);
• At least seven (7) years of relevant architecture experience with at least five (5) with DFD and/or the University of Wisconsin;
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Wisconsin architect license; NCARB certification (or ability to obtain); LEED accreditation; demonstrated DFD and/or University of Wisconsin project experience; experience with architectural engineering document coordination; experience with AutoCAD and BIM (proficiency in REVIT preferred); previous project management experience managing multi-disciplined teams; and construction administration experience. The ideal candidate will also be able to handle a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under deadline pressures; good organizational, listening and clarification skills. Previous experience with state/federal military facilities is a bonus.
